The Endless Wait: Red Dead Redemption 3 and Fallout 5’s Journey to Release in the 2030s
It’s a well-known fact that video game enthusiasts are a notoriously patient bunch. Whether it’s eagerly waiting for the next big release or biding their time as they play through an open-world game, gamers are no strangers to waiting. Todd Howard, the big cheese at Bethesda, has stated that Fallout 5 won’t be a focus for the studio until after The Elder Scrolls 6 is released. So, what does that mean for Fallout fans? And given the high level of expectation that will be placed on Red Dead Redemption 3, it’s likely that Rockstar will take even more time to ensure that the next title is as good as it can be, meaning that we could be waiting until the 2030s for Red Dead Redemption 3. And let’s not forget, Rockstar Games has a few officially announced games in development, like the next Grand Theft Auto entry. It’s likely that we’ll see that before the decade turns over, but it could still push the release of Red Dead Redemption 3 into the 2030s. So, there you have it, folks.
